Businesses can play an important role in safeguarding fish populations and protecting the marine environment.

The WWF-Singapore Responsible Seafood Group (RSG) was launched to take a step towards a future in which species thrive in healthy ecosystems for the benefit of people and businesses.

The WWF-Singapore Responsible Seafood Group (RSG) provides brand and market recognition through a performance based label assessed by WWF on a yearly basis.

BENEFITS OF THE RESPONSIBLE SEAFOOD GROUP

IMPROVE SOURCING

  • Receive support from the largest conservation organization in the world to address knowledge gaps and prepare for long term sustainability through sustainable sourcing.

RAISE AWARENESS AND GET RECOGNIZED FOR IT

  • Interest and influence consumers adopting responsible seafood alternatives at a time where seafood sustainability is being seized by major players.

  • Build market recognition with business partners and customers for being a key player in a growing market segment.

FOR CONSERVATION

  • The group’s contributions are allocated towards funding sustainability assessments of seafood relevant to the Singaporean market.

  • The Data intelligence collected helps WWF teams across the world to pinpoint critical fisheries and farms for improvement programs to safeguard fish populations, livelihoods and ensure long term viability of seafood.

WHOM IS IT FOR?

We invite businesses and organisations involved in the seafood industry to be a part of the group. This includes:

   Retailers                     Suppliers                   Restaurants
