Video Editor (Contract / Freelance)
WWF, the world's leading independent conservation organisation is looking for an in-house Video Editor to join its Content unit in Singapore. The video editor will lead the creative development and production of engaging communications materials that inspire action around critical environmental campaigns. Responsibilities are to provide in-house editing skills to assist day to day requests, supporting the fast paced delivery of video content for news, PR, social, web, fundraising and other functions across the organisation. You will also be involved in the creative development, production and management process of all WWF videos. There are opportunities for overseas productions in our conservation project sites.
Relevant Diploma or certification in Information systems / Digital Media / Audio & Video / Film & Television / Visual Communications or related field
Experience in one or more of the following fields: library management, digital photo/video processing/editing; photo agency (with online experience); photo/video research;
A proven track record in managing non-linear edit systems.
Excellent knowledge of and practical experience of latest video editing software (including Adobe Premier and AVID), systems, Photoshop and graphics packages.
Ability to be involved in filming projects and put together a full production team, where needed.
You will also have experience of creating, re-purposing and re-packaging compelling short-form content, working across a broad range of different audiences, formats and channels.
Responsible for maintaining in-house video workflows and equipment management.
Experience in nature conservation and/or environment protection desirable.
