The fact-finding will include work in the countries mentioned in the allegations and others as required. WWF will provide the Independent Panel full access to its staff and materials.
Completion of the independent review will take several months. In the interim, WWF is undertaking an immediate review of our social policies and safeguards, training, compliance procedures, and monitoring, to ensure that its work, today and going forward, helps to protect the rights of indigenous people and communities.
People and nature are inextricably linked. WWF has close relationships with communities and indigenous peoples all around the world to sustain the world’s natural heritage.
We are committed to the full exploration of the issues that have been raised and to making the changes needed to deliver on our vision of a world in which both people and nature thrive.
