Tell us About your Campaign

I find that consumers believe that natural products are not as effective as commercial products. I want to change this perspective. Through Sacha Botanicals, I want to show that it is possible to find natural soaps and solid shampoos that protect and nurture the skin with all the power of botanicals and that respect the planet.

How did you and your campaign benefit from the #weGotThis Programme

A lot! As I’m Peruvian, the program helped me to learn about the Singaporean market, its development, and key improvements in sustainability. I also, had the opportunity to network with leaders in the sustainability arena. This was immensely important since I had no much knowledge about the main players in the field. Moreover, the support of my mentor was invaluable. He made sure that I was getting all the support he could provide to improve my campaign. Every week we met and in a way I found myself accountable for my improvement. Also, the masterclasses and workshops were helpful to acquire specific knowledge related to the sustainability field. As a winner of one of the prizes, I benefited not only from the economic support, but also to belong to a network of individuals that have a similar mindset. I’m super happy to have met so many people with the same purpose and same values in life.

What was your favourite part of your #WeGotThis experience?

There were many important memorable activities in the program. First of all, I cannot appreciate more the people I met during the program. Seeing so much enthusiasm in their projects made me believe even more that I was in the right place to grow. Not only participants, but also experts in the sustainability arena that were guiding us and making the experience more enjoyable and informative. These experts came from finance, communications, marketing, and other areas which enriched our knowledge. We were also exposed to the stories of previous participants to encourage us. Finally, the support doesn’t finish with the end of the program. The WWF team continuously contact us to collaborate and keep in contact.
