Elizabeth (Liz) is an ocean conservationist and science communicator using storytelling to scale ocean education, action and impact. Liz engages an online community of 135k across Tik Tok and Instagram including by simplifying ocean and climate news, sharing the science of our blue planet, and encouraging local actions such as beach cleanups. In 2021, Liz created a social media campaign with the European Parliament that motivated a global and virtual cleanup for World Ocean Day known as the #TrashChallenge. Originally from New York, Liz currently resides in Barcelona and holds a MSc. degree in Marine Environment Resources in which she studied in Spain, France, and Belgium
