Tell us About your Campaign

Climate Possible aims to create safe spaces that encourage people to have honest conversations about the climate crisis and their collective experiences, and inspire them to take action for a more sustainable future. Through this campaign, we use heart-centered prompts and creative design to hopefully guide people in navigating their roles, emotions, and relationships with nature using creative prompts and illustrations. Currently, we create digital cards on social media, but we work on expanding to create physical cards and facilitate conversations at events across Asia and beyond. We’re here to walk with you in your climate journey. We want you to feel hopeful about a more sustainable world that we build together.

How did you and your campaign benefit from the #weGotThis Programme

Prior to the #WeGotThis Programme, I only had a vague idea in mind – which is to communicate sustainability and environment concepts creatively through design and illustrations. During the bootcamp, I gained more knowledge on building campaigns and also technical knowledge which I was able to use, not just in my campaign, but also in other projects. Most significantly, through the mentorship sessions, my mentor Natalie Seisser helped me figure out the direction I want to go with the campaign, gave me practical advice and guidance on get started and keep the momentum without burning out, and encouraged me throughout the way. Being part of the #WeGotThis Programme gave me a wider and broader perspective on the different fields of sustainability which ignited my curiosity to explore how these relate to our daily lives, and integrate these into my campaign. From just a digital campaign idea, my campaign Climate Possible has evolved to be both in the digital and physical spaces. Without the #WeGotThis Programme, I would not be able to launch Climate Possible, which then has opened opportunities for the campaign to grow on a wider scale and create a bigger impact. Furthermore, I’m happy to be part of a community of young sustainability advocates who supports one another in campaigns we launched through the #WeGotThis Programme.

What was your favourite part of your #WeGotThis experience?

While there were a lot of amazing parts during my #WeGotThis experience, the mentoring sessions were undoubtedly my favorite. During these sessions, Climate Possible was born, developed, and launched. Even with an idea and the knowledge from the bootcamp, it is through the mentoring sessions really pushed me to get started. As an introvert, I find it a challenge to interact with new people, but I looked forward to each session because of Natalie’s expert guidance and advice which motivated me to create progress in each session. Another highlight of my #WeGotThis experience was unexpectedly getting noticed by an online publication that included Climate Possible in an article, despite the campaign being really new and small.
