Elizabeth (Liz) Clarke is the Director of Conservation and Science at WWF-Singapore. Liz is a passionate conservationist with a career devoted to the environment.
Liz has previously held positions including as the Global Palm Oil Lead for the WWF global network, the Business and Biodiversity programme manager for the Zoological Society of London (ZSL), and as an environmental consultant for AECOM (née URS). Various engagements as an environmental specialist include representing environmental NGOs on the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO) Board of Governors and various RSPO working groups, and serving as the biodiversity and ecology section co-chair of the International Association for Impact Assessment (IAIA), as a board member for the Wildlife Friendly Enterprise Network, and as a committee member for the Business and Biodiversity Offsets Programme (BBOP), Palm Oil Innovation Group (POIG) and the High Conservation Value (HCV) Network.
Liz has a Masters in Environmental Policy from Cambridge University and a degree in Zoology from Imperial College, London.
