Robin Carney is a freelance consultant specialising in international philanthropy. A dual American-Portuguese citizen, Robin studied International Relations at Penn, and has MBA in Finance from Wharton. She started her career as a management consultant for Deloitte in New York and Lisbon.
Robin then moved into the non-profit sector, managing fundraising and communications projects for charities in Portugal and Belgium, where she launched the fundraising unit for BIG, the largest international breast cancer academic research network. After 15 years in Europe, Robin’s family relocated to Seoul, where she led the longest-running international women’s association in Korea and raised funds for women and children’s causes.
Upon moving to Singapore, Robin joined WWF-Singapore in early 2020. As Head of Philanthropy, raised critical funds to protect biodiversity and combat climate change across Southeast Asia. She was a member of the founding team of the We Got This youth programme.
