As one of WWF’s global hubs, WWF-Singapore supports global conservation goals, we address issues such as deforestation, haze pollution, seafood sustainability and illegal wildlife trade in network that spans over 100 countries.  

Major Functions

This person will play a pivotal role in our campaigns team. We are a lean, dynamic team of 3 (operating closely within a larger team of about 25) delivering campaigns both nationally for WWF-Singapore whilst also having regional scope across Southeast Asia. The successful Campaigns Executive will be the 'glue' that binds the team together - with oversight across all of our key projects, notably plastic pollution, illegal wildlife trade and deforestation. The role will bridge key disciplines across communications & marketing, event management, policy & advocacy and corporate engagement & market transformation. As such, we are looking for a well-rounded professional who is ready to learn quickly and not afraid of rolling up their sleeves and getting their hands dirty. This will be an exciting, fast-paced role offering wide-ranging experience on some of the most pressing issues facing humankind today.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Campaigns team as needed in delivery of all campaign outcomes

  • Thoroughly track all campaign deliverables and deadlines to ensure team is hitting objectives

  • Support major events like Earth Hour as required by the team

  • Lead regular status updates and team check-ins 

  • Manage relationships as required with any appointed agencies and suppliers

  • Build and maintain relationships with key offices in the region

  • Monitor for important developments on issues pertaining to IWT, plastic, deforestation, and sustainable seafood

  • Perform other related duties as needed to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the team

Required Qualifications

  • A University Degree in a relevant discipline

  • Professional work experience would be an advantage

Skills Profile

  • Ability to think strategically and operate in a fast paced work environment

  • Meticulous attention to detail

  • Experience in project management where there are multiple and competing priorities

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both written and spoken English

  • Ability to operate independently and with limited supervision

  • Passionate about conservation and driving real impact

  • Great sense of humour
