Position title: Digital Marketing & Fundraising Manager

Reports to: Head of Department

Location: Singapore 


Major Functions: 

In this new role we want you to make your mark helping to make our digital brand presence and voice the loudest, most respected and reliable in helping to restore nature to its glorious best and to save our planet. In this role, you will play a key role in ensuring that we grow our support through all digital channels, helping us build a movement in defence of nature and working with our fundraising teams to ensure our digital channels help us attract and convert new financial supporters.

We are looking for an effective digital marketer with people management skills, who is capable of mobilising, inspiring and developing a high performing, multi-channel digital team and will have extensive experience in designing and delivering successful multi-channel performance campaigns.

You will have a track record of growing engagement and support on social media channels and expertise in delivering high-performing digital strategies.


As a Manager you will be able to demonstrate:

  • People and Project Management Skills:

    • Take the lead responsibility for the operational running of digital fundraising activities and programmes and manage and develop the Digital Fundraising Executive

  • Strategic Planning & Proven track record of Digital sales delivery:

    • Develop global strategies for digital marketing channels (email, search, display, paid social, P2P)

    • Understanding of Sales/Fundraising concept

    • Look for opportunities to move digital fundraising forward and identify new channels for digital acquisition

    • Launch always-on and also specific lead generation campaigns

    • Ensure that all WWF-Singapore’s digital channels are optimised and utilised for fundraising purposes (when possible), as well as develop standalone fundraising appeals (one time campaigns or special campaigns)

    • Evaluate success of marketing plans and make recommendations for improvements

    • Plan WWF-Singapore’s digital fundraising strategy long-term

    • Problem solving initiatives with a growth mindset

  • Managing Media spend and planning both with internal capacity and via 3rd party agencies and marketplaces:

    • Experience in managing agencies and in house teams

    • Search for and manage the relationship with digital agencies or other digital suppliers

    • Digital Media buy (ad budgeting)

    • Strong experience using data analytics tools

  • Creative mindset to conceptualize new digital marketing campaigns:

    • Creativity and innovative approaches to  new campaigns/ projects

    • Understanding of data flow and supporter journeys from beginning to end

    • Help develop and build the digital Peer-to-Peer platform and strategy

  • Budget management and a complete understanding of metrics for generating income (ROI, CPL, CPA):

    • Build and manage digital budgets and monitor and report on results to make ensure digital fundraising delivers on target

    • Analyse existing projects and programmes to help determine viability and prioritise, and allocate resources and budgets

  • Software management and Web design skill set:

    • Knowledge and experience of applicable coding skills and web development knowledge (HTML; CSS; Wordpress-based CMS). Not required but desired: PHP & SQL knowledge

    • Understanding of integration of platforms (APIs)

    • Platform management execution

  • Ensure that our programmes and activities deliver exceptional experience to WWF-Singapore’s donors

  • Communicative with internal and external stakeholders


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent experience

  • Ability to demonstrate practical application of digital marketing expertise to the highest level

  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position

  • Good written English, with a flair for writing and producing online content

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and deliver on tight time-frames

  • Excellent project management skills

  • Strong attention to details and good interpersonal and vendor management skills

  • Familiar with managing paid social media platforms such as Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter and Instagram will be an advantage

  • Experience with Google Adwords and Google Display Network

  • Experience with HTML, CSS, PHP and SQL will be an advantage

  • Experience in fundraising or charity projects will be a bonus
