Are you a great communicator, good at building lasting relationships and building loyalty with supporters and clients? Do you love delighting supporters or customers and developing personalised, meaningful journeys that impress them? If so, this role is perfect for you!

As the Retention Officer, you'll be responsible for managing the supporter experience for an international environmental conservation charity based in Singapore. You will lead and deliver innovative and inspiring marketing campaigns which will drive supporter loyalty and satisfaction by enabling them to see the difference they are making in the protection of our planets resources and providing a world for people and nature.

The successful candidate will have excellent communications skills and will inspire supporters to increase their engagement and their support. You'll have an excellent attention to detail and lead new program through a variety of channels that will enable new fundraising opportunities within existing members.


  1. Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and manage fundraising programs to upgrade donations.

  • Deepen relationships with WWF members and serve as the point of contact for members in your portfolio.

  • Understand members’ requirements and needs to develop an action plan to solicit individual gifts and raise new funds and increase revenue.

  • Design effective budget models for this new fundraising program. Analyze financial information to ensure all operations are within budget. Reforecast and review work plans based on analysis of data to drive improvements in the program.

  • Coordinate, organize and deliver events and activities.

  • Design and produce engaging and inspiring communication strategies and materials to communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to members. 

  • Resolve issues to maintain and strengthen member trust and collaborate with internal departments to facilitate member need fulfilment.


  1. Profile:


Required Qualifications        

  • Minimum 4 years’ working experience in one of the following areas:

    • Non-profit management or fundraising

    • Donor Retention

    • Account management

    • Client servicing

    • Relationship building & management

Required Skills and Competencies 

  • Strong stakeholder focus and service-oriented attitude.

  • Experience in delivering customer-focused / member-focused solutions based on member needs.

  • Strong attention to detail, since this role often manages member databases and budgets, which may involve reporting.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Ability to skillfully gauge and adapt to audiences.

  • Maturity, tactfulness, good judgment, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; and effective presentation skills.

  • Interest in conservation.

  • Ability to manage the job independently and pro-actively.

  • Ability to meet members after working hours when needed.
