Position Title: Senior HR Executive, Singapore

Reports to: Head of Human Resources, Administration and Facility Management, WWF Singapore

Location: Singapore

Date: January 2020

 

Mission of the Department: To ensure a high performing WWF Office with efficient operating systems, professional and skilled staff, and strong financial resources, delivering corporate responsibility partnerships and fundraising for WWF’s priority conservation activities in Singapore and the rest of the WWF’s global network. 

Major Functions: Business partner with the respective business units to provide value-added HR support and relevant advice pertaining to HR issues and provide support to various key HR initiatives and drive staff engagement programmes.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for HR functions including talent acquisition, learning & development, compensation &  benefits, employee relations, etc.

  •  Analyse the key challenges of the business operations and to provide sound advice and solutions to address the issues.

  • Support hiring manager in recruitment and source for potential candidates through internal & external channels and to develop a pipeline of appropriate talent. Handle on-boarding and off-boarding planning and execution.

  • Work closely with line manager on annual performance review, design of training roadmap, employee communication and engagement activities.

  • Provide HR advice and support to line managers on operational issues such as employee disciplinary issues, grievances and complaints.

  • Handle and ensure timely submission of medical insurance claims and good follow-up.

  • Maintain accurate HR database and up-to-date employee’ record for accurate reporting.

  • Provide support on ad-hoc HR related tasks/projects.

 

Profile

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree or Diploma, with specialisation in Human Resources 

  • 3-4 years of HR generalist Business Partner experience with strong business acumen.

  • L&D experience

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Thorough understanding of Singapore labour and employment laws

  • Good analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision

  • Meticulous, committed and takes initiatives.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and exposure to working within a multi-cultural environment

  • Good oral and written communication skills in English

  • Adheres to WWF’s values which are: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging.

 

Working Relationships

Internal: Works closely with the Head, Human Resources, Administration and Facility Management, COO and all staff of WWF Singapore and WWF International.

External: Engages with HR service providers  and insurance provider.
