September 28, 2012

Golden Fresh and WWF Singapore invite you and your family to experience sustainably harvested seafood with us!

From 5 to 7 October, head down to any of the four Cold Storage or Market Place outlets below from 10.00am to 9.00pm to sample Pacific West’s Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certified fish fillets (a premium product of Golden Fresh) and pick up some cooking tips on preparing Pacific West products for your family:

  • Centerpoint Cold Storage
  • Jelita Cold Storage
  • Causeway Point Cold Storage
  • Jasons Market Place Raffles City

In addition, every purchase of 2 Pacific West MSC-certified products gives you a chance to take part in the WWF Sustainable Seafood game and win prizes while learning to make responsible choices for sustainable seafood.

We look forward to seeing you at our roadshows!

About Marine Stewardship Council (MSC)

The Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) is an international non-profit standards programme set up in 1999 to help transform the seafood market to a sustainable basis. The MSC runs the only certification and ecolabelling programme for wild-capture fisheries consistent with the ISEAL Code of Good Practice for Setting Social and Environmental Standards and the United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation Guidelines for the Eco-labelling of Fish and Fishery Products from Marine Capture Fisheries.

Certified fisheries currently land over seven million metric tonnes of seafood annually – close to eight per cent of the total harvest from wild capture fisheries. Worldwide, more than 15,000 seafood products, which can be traced back to the certified sustainable fisheries, bear the blue MSC ecolabel. www.msc.org
