A sustainable, green future is only possible if governments, organisations and people work together to protect the natural world. Nature and people living in tandem are the only way forward.
Our youth today will grow up in a world that is very different from the one we know now. Climate change and over-exploitation of natural resources continue to place unprecedented twin pressures on the planet.
A key pillar in our plans for a greener Singapore, is educating and supporting youths and communities to become leaders of change for sustainability.
WWF-Singapore works on programmes that focus on raising awareness; empowering people with knowledge and skills and creating avenues for them to make a difference.
Singapore faces many threats to our biodiversity, including rising sea levels and extreme weather events. Not to mention declining wildlife, marine biodiversity and threats from the region such as forest fires and air pollution.
Our youth are our future sustainability leaders, and WWF-Singapore is committed to supporting our green leaders of tomorrow through various initiatives and opportunities.
WWF-Singapore believes in protecting the biodiversity of the region, as well as our own city. Our own island, a haven to rich biodiversity despite being small, must be preserved and supported by everyone, together.
