Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) provides youth between 11 to 25 years old a platform to speak up on environmental issues and take action through solutions-based journalism – reporting, photography, and video journalism.
We work with schools in Singapore because we strongly believe that through education, we can help build a sustainable future for Singapore. WWF’s School Programmes develop and nurture active citizens for the environment by providing youths (aged 7 – 18) the skills they need to create a positive change in their schools and communities through their actions.
As the future workforce and decision-makers of Singapore, youths play a critical role in shaping the society we live in. We engage with youths (17 to 25 years old) by providing them with a safe space to experiment their ideas and understand real world issues, and capacity building opportunities to learn new skills and connect with experts.
It is important that one connects with nature and takes the necessary steps in being a responsible citizen by purchasing sustainable products and taking necessary actions to protect the local biodiversity. The Public Engagement (all age groups) provides you with a platform — both virtual and physical to engage with experts in Sustainable development and Conservation.
