Building a future in which people live in harmony with nature

Protect Our Oceans Did you know that half of Singapore’s seafood supply comes from Indonesia, Malaysia, and Vietnam?

Marine Protected Areas (MPAs) play a pivotal role in preserving marine ecosystems and ensuring a sustainable seafood source.

Less than 10% of the world's oceans are currently protected, leaving marine ecosystems vulnerable to threats like plastic pollution, overfishing, habitat loss, and rising temperatures. Our oceans urgently need safeguarding from centuries of misuse and neglect.

Make a one-time donation today to help conserve Marine Protected Areas (MPAs).

FIGHTING PLASTIC POLLUTION Plastic, once hailed as a convenient solution, has now become an environmental crisis—suffocating our land, rivers, and oceans.

They also pose a serious threat to animals, who may inadvertently ingest or become entangled in plastic litter.

This urgency highlights the need for immediate action to address plastic usage, reduce plastic waste, and adopt sustainable alternatives. Through awareness campaigns, strong policies, and collaborative efforts, we strive to protect our beaches, marine ecosystems, and ensure a sustainable future for all.

#WeGotThis 3.0 is back! Today's youth are more aware than ever of the climate crisis and are eager to take action for the planet. That's why we created #WeGotThis, a youth-led incubator programme designed to empower a generation of digital natives to become sustainability advocates of the future.

#WeGotThis is specifically tailored towards young people aged 18-30 who are passionate about sustainability and want to make a positive impact on the environment and society. This year, our themes are focused on biodiversity, net zero, sustainable finance, and circular economy.

CLIMATE

Climate change poses a fundamental threat to everything we love. Current emissions put the world on track to breach tipping points of 1.5°C that will cause irreversible impacts to people, environments and economies.

GUARDIANS OF THE FUTURE WWF-Singapore’s first-ever Escape Room!

Designed around WWF-Singapore’s three thematic pillars – Climate, Nature, and Community – players will embark on a three-part journey, entering real-world scenarios of a climate refugee, a ranger’s life in a regional forest, and the everyday reality of a Singaporean navigating the challenges of single-use plastic consumption and waste management.

As you pack your belongings to evacuate, you look out at the trees and start questioning if the answer to your survival has been right in front of you all along…

Uncover the hidden truths of conservation with us.
BE THE KEY TO OUR SURVIVAL
ONLY 1 IN 1,000 HATCHLINGS SURVIVE We're losing 80,000 sea turtles every year to exploitation. Today, six out of seven sea turtle species are facing existential threats, ranging from marine pollution to illegal trade.

Home to both Hawksbill and Green sea turtles, Singapore has an important role to play in conserving these populations and halting illegal turtle trade. With only 1 in 1,000 hatchlings making it to adulthood, we need your help now to protect the future of our local sea turtles.

Adopt a turtle today for only S$18/month!

PROTECT PANGOLINS FROM ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADE The global status of all eight species of Pangolins went from Near Threatened to Critically Endangered in just a span of nearly three decades due to rampant illegal wildlife trade.

Pangolins are the most trafficked mammal in the world, with an estimated 195,000 pangolins trafficked in 2019 for their scales alone.

This situation is alarming and we need your help. With just S$18/month, your symbolic adoption can protect pangolins from the cruelty of illegal wildlife trade. Adopt a pangolin today and become a protector!

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES ARE CLOSER TO HOME THAN WE THINK In Singapore, we are blessed with flourishing flora and fauna, food security, and the comforts of a home. Yet, we sometimes take these blessings for granted.

Environmental issues can often seem like a distant topic to some of us. Do our actions truly make any impact on the planet?

These issues are Closer To Home than we think. Just because you can't see them doesn’t mean they don't exist.

Let’s bring humanity CLOSER TO HOME, starting right here in Singapore. Protecting our home starts with us!
