Singapore, 1 November 2025 – Today’s youth are eager to make a difference for sustainability and the environment. From adopting greener lifestyle habits and choosing eco-friendly products to actively engaging in climate conversations, their commitment is evident. Yet, turning complex issues into messages that inspire wider change remains a challenge. With social media emerging as one of the most powerful advocacy tools, amplifying youth voices though digital platforms has never been more important.
#WeGotThis Programme, organised by WWF-Singapore in partnership with Temasek Foundation, was created to meet this need – building a youth-led movement of changemakers driven to create a future in which people live in harmony with nature. For youth eager to leave their mark, the programme serves as a launchpad, transforming passion into action. Through its incubator journey (Annex A), participants gain knowledge on key sustainability issues, learn strategies for effective digital advocacy, and develop the skills to engage audiences, grow their platforms, and inspire positive community change.

#WeGotThis Year 4 Best Community Engagement Winner, Faith Foo, presenting his campaign at Impact Week 2025.
Now in its fourth year, #WeGotThis expanded its impact by launching the Immersion Programme at Impact Week 2025. Selected participants had the opportunity to showcase their campaigns (focused on four key pillars: Net Zero, Circular Economy, Sustainable Finance & Biodiversity) to industry experts and networked with thought leaders in the climate and sustainability space.
This year’s cohort brought together 89 youth – 46 from across the APAC region (China, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, and Vietnam) and 43 from Singapore. Together, they successfully developed and launched their campaigns with the guidance from industry mentors, with 18 shortlisted for the #WeGotThis Awards. The awards recognised excellence across three categories: Best Visual Storytelling, Best Community Engagement, and overall Best Campaign (Annex B).
More than just an online movement, #WeGotThis equips young changemakers to bridge the gap between digital advocacy and tangible impact in their communities. Graduates also join a growing alumni community of sustainability advocates, with opportunities to stay engaged, co-lead future initiatives, and inspire the next wave of leaders across the region.
