WWF-Singapore announces that Chief Executive Officer, Vivek Kumar, has decided to step down from his role with effect from 31 January 2026, as he prepares to pursue a new opportunity in a different sector.
The Board is deeply appreciative of Vivek’s four years of dedicated leadership and the contributions he has made to the organisation. During his tenure, WWF-Singapore has developed the organisation, sharpened its strategic priorities, and deepened partnerships to deliver greater conservation impact, including advancing its pioneering work in carbon finance.
To support a smooth and orderly transition, Vivek will continue to support WWF-Singapore in an Advisory capacity and ensuring continuity.
The Board, led by the Chairman, will commence the search for the next Chief Executive Officer. In the interim, the Chairman will work closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure continuity of leadership and operations, and that the organisation’s work continues as usual.
