Major Functions:
The Intern, Technology & Digital Solutions supports day-to-day technology operations, documentation, and improvement initiatives across the organisation. This role provides hands-on exposure to enterprise IT operations while contributing meaningfully to service delivery, system hygiene, and digital enablement initiatives that support WWF-Singapore’s conservation mission.
Responsibilities:
End-User & Operations Support
- Provide basic support for end-user issues related to laptops, peripherals, Microsoft 365 tools, and digital workplace applications under guidance from the Tech team.
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding activities such as device preparation, account setup checklists, and access verification.
- Support AV and meeting room setup for internal meetings, trainings, and events when required.
IT Asset & System Hygiene
- Assist in maintaining accurate IT asset records, including devices, accessories, and software allocations.
- Perform routine checks on devices such as updates, antivirus status, and basic configurations to ensure readiness and compliance.
- Support stock-taking, labelling, and lifecycle tracking of IT equipment
Documentation & Knowledge Management
- Support the creation and maintenance of internal IT documentation including SOPs, user guides, FAQs, and onboarding checklists.
- Assist in improving the structure and clarity of existing documentation on SharePoint or other knowledge repositories.
- Capture recurring issues and resolutions to contribute to the internal knowledge base
Project & Improvement Support
- Provide hands-on support for technology projects including testing, deployment assistance, and post-implementation checks.
- Assist in simple automation or process improvement initiatives such as workflow documentation or basic Power Automate support.
- Help collect user feedback to support continuous improvement.
Learning, Compliance & Awareness
- Support internal digital literacy, security awareness, or training initiatives.
- Learn and adhere to organisational IT, security, and data protection policies, escalating issues when identified.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Windows and macOS environments and productivity tools such as Microsoft 365.
- Strong willingness to learn, follow structured processes, and take guidance.
- Good communication skills and a service-oriented mindset.
- Ability to document clearly and pay attention to detail.
- Interest in technology operations, digital tools, or automation is an advantage.
