Market Transformation Initiative Intern

Position title: Market Transformation Initiative Intern

Duration: Mid-January to Mid-August 2026 (7 months)

Location: Singapore

World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organisations. As one of WWF’s international hubs, WWF-Singapore supports a global network spanning over 100 countries. WWF Singapore works closely with local stakeholders towards a greener and more sustainable Singapore and the region around us. We work to address key conservation areas, such as climate change, sustainable finance, deforestation, illegal wildlife trade, marine conservation, and sustainable production and consumption, through collaboration, education and outreach efforts involving the community, businesses, and governments.  For more information, please visit wwf.sg. 

Major Functions 

The intern will support WWF-Singapore’s Market Transformation Initiative team, focusing on digital communications and publicity for the Reusables in CBD pilot and related campaigns. This includes assisting with content creation, social media engagement, and digital asset development, alongside light event support. 

Major Duties and Responsibilities

1. Digital Engagement & Content Creation: 

  • Design and adapt digital assets such as social media posts, infographics, and short videos using Canva or similar tools.  
  • Ensure all visuals align with WWF’s brand guidelines and campaign objectives. 


2. Draft Captions and Copy: 

  • Write engaging captions and copy for social media and digital platforms, following WWF’s communication calendar and tone of voice. 


3. Support Online Publicity: 

  • Assist in promoting the Reuse Challenge and other campaign activities through digital channels, including preparing EDM templates and visual assets for outreach.

4. Social Media & Online Campaign Support: 

  •  Curate user-generated content, monitor hashtag engagement, and identify opportunities for amplification.  
  • Collaborate with WWF’s Comms team to ensure consistency across platforms. .

5. Assist with Scheduling & Monitoring: 

  • Help schedule posts on WWF’s social media platforms and track performance metrics such as reach, engagement, and click-through rates. 

6. Reporting & Analytics: 

  •  Compile engagement metrics and campaign performance data into clear summaries for internal reporting.  
  • Support preparation of charts and visuals for impact reports and presentations. 

7. Broader Comms Support: 

  •  Assist in drafting press releases, blog posts, and partner stories under guidance. 
  • Maintain a well-organized content archive and digital asset library for easy access and reuse. 

Requirements 

  • Undergraduate or recent graduate in Communications, Marketing, or related field. 
  • Strong interest in sustainability and digital storytelling. 
  • Proficiency in Canva, social media platforms, and basic video editing preferred. 
  • Excellent writing and visual communication skills. 
  • Detail-oriented and proactive, with a collaborative spirit. .

Additional Information 

  • This is a full-time, paid internship. 
  • Opportunities to contribute to WWF-Singapore’s broader sustainability initiatives may be available.
