WWF Schools Programme

Engage WWF-SG for school wide projects, thematic talks, outdoor learning programmes and career talks!

As the national operator of the Eco-Schools Programme, a UNESCO recognised Environmental Education framework, WWF-Singapore equips students with essential knowledge and skills to spearhead environmental initiatives within their schools.

WWF-Singapore strives to encourage Singapore schools to adopt more green initiatives, which aligns with Singapore’s Green Plan to strengthen green efforts in schools. The WWF Schools Programme is aligned with MOE’s Eco-Stewardship Programme, which aims to:-

  1. Achieve a two-thirds reduction of net carbon emissions from the schools sector by 2030
  2. At least 20% of schools to be carbon neutral by 2030

WWF-Singapore’s commitment extends beyond the traditional classroom settings. We conduct initiatives such as informative school talks on Singapore’s key conservation issues, immersive outdoor experiences through WWF Explores, and career talks aimed at equipping students with the knowledge and skills necessary to tackle complex environmental problems.

To recognise the crucial role of educators, WWF-Singapore aims to guide teaching staff in seamlessly integrating environmental education into their school curriculum and everyday teaching through our Educator Engagements.
