Going further with WWF

— Grace Lim

It saddens me that in today’s world, few spare a thought for nature. The climate crisis is accelerating at such an alarming rate that so much has to be done to put a stop to it. I do hope to see more efforts channelled into the climate cause.

WWF is doing amazing work in the areas of climate, food, forests, freshwater, oceans and wildlife, and I am happy to contribute to these causes. COVID-19 has certainly inspired me to think out of the box on how we can do more with less and how changing our ways to the new normal can significantly impact the environment.

Think doing away with nonessential travels, saying no to plastic, or even growing your own food.

A World for Future Generations

— P. Subramanian

Noble cause with many ways to give back to make the world better for our future generations. Keep up the good work and wish you all the best for continuing to run this initiative. God Bless

Learn more through member-exclusive activities!

— Jon Yi

I decided to come to learn more about how we can upcycle the packaging materials we get from shopping to help with our environment.

It was an engaging session and I hope to get more chances to take part in these activities! My experience in WWF has been pleasant knowing that I am able to do my part to help with the animals and the environment.

A journey for wildlife

— Siti Syazielawati

I am personally an animal lover, hence if there are any to little ways of helping the wildlife, especially those who could get extinct due to poachers, i would gladly give a part of what i can donate to allow the animals to stay alive.

The tiger experience has been a ride to be frank. Reading the updates and how my donation helped and knowing the challenges the guys on ground are facing, i'm truly moved to consistently try my best to keep my donation going. Learning that my donation has helped fund at the very least, equipments and manpower for the scouting of the whereabouts of the tigers, i know it has helped the ground team in ways of enhancing their protection for the tigers. To learn that most of the efforts are working, i'm fully aware of the safe space which is provided for the free roaming of tigers without the worry of poachers.

My hopes for the tigers would be that i would love to see more of them being able to roam around safely and not have their population die down to an extinction. My hopes for the sharks would be that in due time, there are lesser huntings of sharks for their fins. More takedowns towards illegal fishing of shark fins and leaving sharks helpless. In all, i'm hoping to further contribute my aid in physical means if ever there are any opportunities arises to take part in saving the wildlife!

Supporting animal conservation to protect endangered animals

— Athena Strangas

I am 8 years old this year. When I turned 7 years old last year, I raised funds for animal conservation by selling drawings and paintings of endangered animals to family and friends. Part of the funds I raised went to this WWF Save the Tigers program.

I hope that people will stop hunting down tigers, and that tigers will be less endangered. I hope that there will be more places where we can keep tigers safe. This is important because tigers are vital to the animal eco-system and that we have a responsibility to protect them for future generations.(With permission of guardian)

Let's do better for nature

— Jazel

I have been donating to WWF for quite a number of years. I personally feel that the damages done by humans to nature is beyond nature's control and would like to try to make things better.

WWF has been nothing but inspiring, giving us hope on the causes they support and please continue to do what you do.
