WWF Singapore will be at the Asia Dive Expo (ADEX) as part of the Sustainable Seafood Campaign.

The Coral Triangle is one of the most biologically-rich marine regions in the world. Located on the doorstep of Singapore, it is a popular destination for eco-tourism but is also one of our main sources of seafood. Many of the species you see while diving or snorkelling in the region are the same species on our plates. Unfortunately, many of these populations are increasingly threatened by overfishing, unsustainable and unregulated fishing practices.

Visit the WWF Singapore’s booth to know more about the challenges faced by the Coral Triangle and how the WWF Singapore Seafood Guide can help you choose sustainably-harvested seafood, to safeguard the future of this important and fragile marine ecosystem.

This year, turtles are the main focus for ADEX, which is why Rahayu Zulkifli, Team Leader of WWF Malaysia’s Terengganu Turtle Conservation will be speaking on “The Roles of Turtles and Why Should We Care” on Friday, 3:00pm and Sunday, 11:00am.
To learn more about the WWF’s Coral Triangle Initiative and the challenges faced by the Coral Triangle, catch us at:
