Belum-Temenggor is home to some of Malaysia’s last remaining tigers, with a 60% decline in tigers since 2010 due to poaching.
We aim to increase the population of tigers in Belum-Temenggor to at least 80 individuals by 2030. This will be done through supporting operations of indigenous anti-poaching patrol teams to remove snares, identifying poaching hotspots and setting up camera traps to monitor the tiger population.
