NO /PROMPT CAN BRING OUR SEAGRASS BACK Seagrass ecosystems are vital to marine life, supporting biodiversity from small organisms to large herbivores such as the dugong (Dugong dugon). As the dugong’s sole food source, rapid decline in seagrass bed directly threatens its survival, with the species listed as vulnerable to extinction by the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).

This is unfortunately the reality today. Nearly 30% of global seagrass meadows have already been lost, making it one of the fastest-declining yet least visible environmental crises. In Singapore,
remaining seagrass habitats such as Chek Jawa Wetlands are under increasing pressure from
coastal development and water quality changes. Across the region, particularly in Malaysia, seagrass beds have declined rapidly in recent decades, and this triggered cascading impacts such as rising dugong deaths.

Protecting seagrass is therefore essential to safeguard biodiversity, strengthen climate resilience, and ensure the survival of this unique marine mammal.

Protect local marine heritage

As an island nation, our connections with the ocean are deeply rooted. Singapore’s coastal and marine habitats are home to diverse wildlife, help protect our shores and are an important part of our natural heritage.
By bringing communities together, we can help protect and restore marine habitats for future generations.

ONLY 1 IN 1,000 HATCHLINGS SURVIVE We're losing 80,000 sea turtles every year to exploitation. Today, six out of seven sea turtle species are facing existential threats, ranging from marine pollution to illegal trade.

Home to both Hawksbill and Green sea turtles, Singapore has an important role to play in conserving these populations and halting illegal turtle trade. With only 1 in 1,000 hatchlings making it to adulthood, we need your help now to protect the future of our local sea turtles.

Adopt a turtle today for only S$18/month!

PROTECT PANGOLINS FROM ILLEGAL WILDLIFE TRADE The global status of all eight species of Pangolins went from Near Threatened to Critically Endangered in just a span of nearly three decades due to rampant illegal wildlife trade.

Pangolins are the most trafficked mammal in the world, with an estimated 195,000 pangolins trafficked in 2019 for their scales alone.

This situation is alarming and we need your help. With just S$18/month, your symbolic adoption can protect pangolins from the cruelty of illegal wildlife trade. Adopt a pangolin today and become a protector!

ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES ARE CLOSER TO HOME THAN WE THINK In Singapore, we are blessed with flourishing flora and fauna, food security, and the comforts of a home. Yet, we sometimes take these blessings for granted.

Environmental issues can often seem like a distant topic to some of us. Do our actions truly make any impact on the planet?

These issues are Closer To Home than we think. Just because you can't see them doesn’t mean they don't exist.

Let’s bring humanity CLOSER TO HOME, starting right here in Singapore. Protecting our home starts with us!
