WWF’s first “Save Our Seafood” Luncheon

October 10, 2010

The first WWF Singapore “Save Our Seafood” Luncheon took place on 5th October. This was an awareness event organised in collaboration with the Fairmont Singapore, that served up the region’s most delectable dishes to media and other guests.

The goal of the event was to help raise awareness about how consumers and businesses play a vital role in marine conservation. Guests had the opportunity to sample a menu composed of sumptuous ethical seafood dishes designed and prepared by Chef Otto Weibel, Chef Michael Muller and the culinary team at the Fairmont Hotel. Guests were then invited to watch an exclusive cooking demonstration featuring Sustainable Seafood Laksa.
